Zé Coco is a self-taught luthier and musician who built and played folk violins (rabecas, in Pt-Br) and folk guitars (viola, in Pt-Br). Very little of his playing has been preserved, much of his music is known to other players (perhaps contrived), and very few of the instruments he built are known.
