If you don’t teach students then you are going to fail miserably at teaching subjects. I think, however, that this is on a continuum. By the time they get to me in 12th grade I am teaching calculus. However, if I don’t care about the kids as people and particularly how they learn, then I might as well give them videos and go home. The reason we still have schools, as opposed to doing everything on line, is that most people need caring and support from other people. A real teacher can zero in on a problem a lot quicker than searching the internet.

When we were in 5 class we knew her pretty well and we’re very open. This led to letting us understand more good and we appeared more comfortable. Well the point you said might be good too. I had a very bad maths teacher who taught me in 5 and 7 (bad luck). She always had biasness towards few and few were her always low scoring students . When they asked doubt she never answered and blamed that they didn’t heard her properly. In 6 we met a very good maths sir that will be in our heart forever.
