I’m very comfortable wearing skirts; I just occasionally feel comfortable getting out of it, even though I’m working on it. In terms of fit, I have more belly than bust, but if I go for stretchy and/or loose dresses they usually work well. For me, a dress is different from a dress – it’s total commitment. Sure, you can always top it up with a sweater or hoodie, and you’ll look like a guy in a dress again (if you’re me), but just wearing a dress out takes courage. slightly.
