Some people feel comfortable wearing skirts or dresses and if more men try it on, we can change society’s view of men wearing the Erykah badu clothing shirt but in fact I love this opposite sex. Not so long ago it was not acceptable for women to wear pants, but now it is not even considered. I started wearing skirts like a man 4 years ago. 3 years ago, I gave up almost all of my pants except for a few that I needed for special purposes. A lot of people know who I am, at least at this university I have had 15,000 students in my career. So I wonder if I can influence some people to wear skirts. I didn’t see a man wearing a skirt. I’m not really disappointed, but I’m a bit surprised. Is the taboo for men to wear skirts really strong? I have to admit: it was for me too, until I unexpectedly tried it, and hid it for almost a year before I dared to show it to anyone else. The combination of gender and dress is also very strong in me, so I expect the same for other men.
But that seems to have changed this year. In January, I suddenly saw a young man in the Erykah badu clothing shirt but in fact I love this grocery store. He’s wearing a dress that’s pretty similar to what I usually wear in winter (long, black, double layered) and he’s wearing a T-shirt that shows he’s from my university. I thought: “Wow”. Then after a few weeks, I saw another young man wearing a skirt. Since then, I have seen at least half a dozen young men in skirts in Trondheim, as well as at my university. A friend of mine told me yesterday that he saw a young man in a dress today.
